Nurses who are looking for a new job, professional development, or a way to keep career information and important documents organized might be interested in Critical Portfolio. It’s an electronic professional portfolio that captures all professional development data and supporting documents over the course of your career. The portfolio keeps all the information you would keep in your resume–summary of education, licensure, and employment history–but, unlike a résumé or CV, it also contains supporting documents, such as copies of educational transcripts, licenses, and letters of recommendation, all available online.

I thought I’d let you know about this, especially because Critical Portfolio is running a 2009 year-end promotion that will give anyone who subscribes by December 31, 2009 an additional three months.
